Southeast Asia

Exceptional training of leaders who are evangelizing Muslims in some of the largest UUPGs in the region.

Training

Only 25% of Muslims worldwide live in the Middle East, but nearly 1 billion live in Asia. Although Islam is often associated with the Arab world and the Middle East, fewer than 15 percent of Muslims are Arab. By far, the largest populations of Muslims live in Southeast Asia, more than 60 percent of the world's total.

Our JLM leaders are training under-the-radar church planters who are reaching unreached Asian Muslims in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Bangladesh, and equipping teams to train others as well. They have trained thousands of leaders who are now training and reaching others.

Outreach

The Sunda are the largest unreached people group in Indonesia; their homeland is in the province of West Java. Our JLM team led 200+ to Christ. A few of these Muslim background believers (MBB) are now full-time field leaders themselves, leading others to Christ.
