Past Projects
Iran
JLM partnered with an Iranian pastor/evangelist who is reaching Muslims, primarily Iranians, in Iran as well as those who are immigrants and refugees in Europe, and planting churches among them. We supported him in planting 2 churches in Turkey.
Amazon/Brazil
Reaching UUPGs in the Amazon in Brazil, and raising up local believers to share the gospel using audio Bibles, the Jesus film backpack, and providing wells for clean water.
Saudi Arabia
Our workers were trained and spiritually attuned to create opportunities for the gospel. We also showed the Jesus film to thousands throughout the country.
As a result:
9929 people saw the Jesus Film
5869 salvations occurred
1543 were baptized
127 churches were started in 6 different cities
Jordan & Syria
JLM partnered with a team of MBB evangelists in Jordan & Syria, reaching refugees throughout the region.
Currently, there are more than 750 house groups extending from Jordan to Syria, Turkey and Lebanon. At great risk to themselves, more than 300 people have been baptized.
Leaders travel to other nations and see vital medical and technology needs met. 9 people have been martyred for their faith in Jesus, but the gospel continues to spread and bear fruit, all Muslims.
Uzbeks in NYC
To reach Uzbeks, JLM sponsored a pastor from Uzbekistan who was granted refugee status due to persecution and imprisonment. There are over one million Jewish and Muslim Uzbeks residing in the city, and, because of their population density, they maintain their own unique culture; this can make them difficult to reach. The pastor and his family focused on NYC and began reaching this unique people group.
Bukharan Jews in NYC
The Bukharan Jews are considered one of the oldest ethno-religious groups of Central Asia and over the years they have developed their own distinct culture. Many immigrated to the U.S. after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and some 70,000 live in Queens, NYC.
JLM served and helped start an outreach meeting for Bukharan Jews. Our team saw families come to their Messiah, Yeshua, and some were baptized as well.
