A Message from the Executive Director

There are Thousands of Places in the World Without One Christian Believer

Almost 30 years ago, someone shared the Gospel and prayed for me to receive Christ. As a young believer, I was discipled in the local church where I now serve. The Body of Christ, the Bible, my family, Christian music, books, education, and movies have all played a role in my development and maturation. I encourage you to look back over your life and remember everyone and everything that helped shape you into the person you are today.

Now imagine a small town, village, or city where there are no believers. No church. No Bible or Christian media of any sort in their language. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of thousands of places like this and millions of people with no witness or opportunity to hear the life-changing message we can hear daily. One of the important verses JLM stands on is Romans 10:14:

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

The 1% Challenge

Though the challenge before us is great, it is also an opportunity for us to respond. Since less than 1% of all Christian giving goes to reach unreached people groups, JLM has decided to focus all of our efforts on reaching out to them. This month we are launching our 1% Challenge. We are asking that you consider giving at the very minimum 1% of your monthly income to help JLM reach the unreached. No amount is insignificant when it is used to bring the eternal, life- saving message of the Gospel.

If you would like to join us, please become a monthly partner and learn more about the people your gifts will support.

Thank you for standing with me, Cady, and our ministry family at JLM as we reach the unreached with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

God Bless you!
